My father, Lúcio, was born in 1970 in São Paulo, and he studied in Colégio Bandeirantes, he lived in a big house because he has three sisters. My mother´s name is Maria Paula, she was born in 1968 and she studied in Colégio Vera Cruz and in the Colégio Santa Cruz. They are very stric, but they are cool, funny… I love them!

My parents had met in the college, because both are dentists. When they weren´t dating, they arranged to eat a pizza with their friends. In the restaurant, when the pizza arrived the waiter served them. My mom was sitting next to my father, because they were close friends. She was cutting the pizza when one piece of her pizza flew into my dad´s dish, my mom was ashamed and my dad laughed and he put the pizza into her mouth!

After a few months, they had started dating and in 1999 they  got married. They had two daughters, me and my sister. Her name is Maria Beatriz, she is nine years old and she studied in Santa Cruz too. My parents had many funny moments, but I like this story.

ABOUT ME

My name is Maria Fernanda and I´m 12 years old, my birthday is in December. I think I´m friendly and outgoing, but sometimes I´m selfish and talkative. I´m sporty, but unfortunately: I´m fat! I have straight dark hair, black eyes and I´m short.

The father and the mother of my grandparents are Japanese, so all of my family are Japanese (but they were born  in Brazil). I have one sister, her name is Maria Beatriz, she´s 8 years old . Her birthday is in September, sometimes she is selfish, but she is very generous and fun. She is thin, she has straight dark hair and black eyes, she is short like me. My father is very thin and short, he is hard-working and sporty. His name is Lúcio, he is 42 years old , he has black hair and black eyes, he is a dentist. My mom is sympathetic and friendly, she is short and thin, she has brown hair and black eyes, her name is Maria Paula, she is 43 years old and she is a dentist (I don´t like it!) but I love my family.

I like my friends, they are very fun and generous, I can´t stand selfish people. I love going out to school because I love talking to my friends so I don´t mind getting up early! My favorite sport is soccer, and my favorite team is Palmeiras. I don´t have a favorite food or singer, but I love pasta and Japanese food and I like Bruno Mars.

In my house, I have to get up at 6:00 a.m but on Saturday I have to get up at 8:00 because I have to go to the Scout’s meeting (I’m Scout Girl). I have to make my bed and clean my room, but I don’t like doing the housework.

I don’t want to be a dentist, because all the people in my family are dentists! I want to be an architect, and I hope to study in USP (Universidade de São Paulo), I’d like to live in São Paulo!

My mother was born in 1965 in São Paulo. She lived in a big house and she was a very naughty girl. She has three children and now she is a funny woman!
One day my mom and my sister went to the cinema to see Marley and Me. They bought the ticket and sat in the right chair in the movietheatre. The film hadn’t started yet, and my mom and my sister started talking with each other.
Suddenly a man was trying to find his sat and thought he was sitting in the right place and sat on my mom’s lap.  My mom started screaming and tried to push him to make him get out of her lap but he didn’t notice she was there and he started pressing himself to sit, my mom started laughing so much and then he notice she was there and got out of my mom’s lap.
He was blushed and was embarrassed and he apologize and my mom forgave him.
After he sat next to my mom and saw the movie and my mom and my sister continued laughing.
When my mom and my sister arrived home they told me and my brother the whole episode and we started laughing.

About Me

Hello! My name is Carolina, I’m from Brazil and I’m twelve years old.

I have curly hair and brown eyes, my hair is brown too.. I’m also really small. Sometimes I’m a little bit messy.

I’ve got a lot of brothers and sisters, I have got a big family too but my parents are divorced. My sisters are Luiza, she is five years old, and Juliana, she is seventeen years old. My brothers are Rafael, he is twenty-two, my other brother is Ricardo, he is a three month year-old-baby.

I just have one grand-mother, because my others grand-parents died, this is so sad! I also have a hamster, Jb, who lives with me, and my dog Buddy who lives in my Dad’s house.

LIKES AND DISLIKES

I´m really into Gossip Girl, it is a TV series and I’m a big fan of Justin Bieber. I love surfing the net and taking a lot of photos. I can’t stand studying because I’m a little bit lazy.

My favorite sports is Tennis and Jazz, I love there sports, since I was little.

I’m good at creating things because I’m really creative.

At School

I study in Santa Cruz school and I’m on 7^th grade. My favorite subject is math because this year I’m really good at math. There are some rules in my school, I’m not allowed to use the phone in the class and I’m supposed to raise my hand to speak in the class. What I most like in my school is the green area!

MY FREE TIME

In my free time I usually surf the net with my IPod, and listen to music. In my IPod I’ve everything, so in my free time I just stay with my IPod.

Plans for the future

In my future I want to marry with Justin Bieber (my favorite singer) everybody says that this will not happened, because he lives in Los Angeles, and he has a million fans, why will he choose me? But I believe that I’ll marry him, and I just ignore what people say.

I also want to work with adverting in the future.

Suzi Furlan Pratti is a Brazilian doctor and my mum. She was born in 1965 in Mogi das Cruzes. She had two children.

And I will tell a history about her.

When she was a child she went to the home of her grandparent every week. In the garden of her grandparents, there were many trees.

         And her grandparents collected the leaves of the trees to make fertilizer. So my mother and her friends climbed up the tallest tree and jumped down on the leaves.

According to my mother it was a funny and fun thing to do.

         But one day, her pants caught in the branch because there was a hole in her pants. So she was hanged by the pants!

         Suddenly she started shouting for help. Finally her grandparents ran to save her.

Hi! My name is Fernanda but everybody calls me Fufles, I am from São Paulo and I am 12 years old. I am tall and skinny (according to my mother!). I’ve got brown eyes, dark blond straight hair. I am usually happy, I am often talkative and I am sometimes stressed… I am a strange person!

              I have a little family, I just have 2 uncles and 2 aunts! I have one sister, she’s called Mariana and she’s 19 years old, so she’s very picky. My parents are married and they are called Suzi and Carlos.

              I’m mad about reading Percy Jackson and I love listening to Queen! I ‘m very keen on the movie “Harry Potter” and I like “The Beatles”. I can’t stand watching “Glee” and I hate “Restart”. My favourite team is São Paulo and my favourite sport is Football. My favourite subject is History and I’m bad at Math. Everybody says I’m good at the handball but I don’t think so. I can play volleyball but I just hit the ball away.

              I go to Santa Cruz school and I’m on 7^th grade. I love History because it makes me curious. There are some rules in my school. I’m not allowed to talk on the phone in the class. I’m supposed to eat in the free time. What I most like about my school is the last day of the year 9of the school) because it’s very fun and I really enjoy!

              In my free time I often listen to music and unfortunately I hardly ever play with my friends because they don’t have much time. I love playing with my dog, when I’m bored! I like talking to my friends at the Skype and taking photo.

              I really don’t know what I would like to be. But, maybe I want to be a doctor and save people. I enjoy this idea…

I am going to tell a story about my father. He was born in October 9^th in 1963 in Monte Abrasivel and his name is Tasso. He was 11 years old when this story happened.

One day when he was playing soccer with some friends in his house the ball fell in the neighbor’s house. When he got the ball he needed to jump the wall, but while he was jumping he saw a tree with a fruit that he really liked and the ball was right next to the tree, he jumped over the wall and got the ball and some fruits of the tree.

When he was eating the fruits two big dogs came and started to run after him. He jumped over the wall so fast that he hurt himself, badly, his leg had a big cut. He needed to operate. Now he still has this scarf.

My name is Ricardo Lobo, I am from São Paulo. I am tall, I have brown hair and brown eyes. I am usually watching TV, and I usually study. I have two sisters, Marina and Helena. Marina is 17 years old and Helena is 15 years old.

I am really into sports, I am very keen on watching TV, and actually I love playing video games. I can´t stand reading book, and I am not mad walking with the dog.

My favorite sport is soccer and my favorite team is São Paulo. I am good at riding a bike. I can jungle with three balls, but I am bad at cooking.

My brother is Martin Buckup, he was born on November, 13^th in 2002. In Michigan, Midland. It was a small town near the Lake Michigan.

Martin is tall, funny, but sometimes he gets very angry. He likes to play soccer, he plays the drum, he likes to sleep and loves to travel. He hates Brazil and Sao Paulo.

One time, we went to Denver, Colorado. We spent about 10 or 15 days there. We went skiing every day and the rest of the day we stayed in our “house”. It was a small apartment near the ski club called Heavenly (the place where we went skiing). It was pretty awesome, but sometimes we were scared. Some nights it was -20ºC. It was a cheeky trip.

 

 

 

 

About Me

 

         My name is Thomas, I´m 13 years old, I´m tall and thin, my eyes are brown, my hair is blond. I ´m usually outgoing, I´m friendly and I have lots of friends. I´m from Michigan, USA.

         I like playing soccer, I practice at school. I don’t like doing tests at school. I don’t mind studying a little bit at home, I hate hot weather places. I can’t stand Sao Paulo.

         I´m interested in skateboarding and music. I´m into basketball and football.

         My favorite soccer team is Sao Paulo FC; my favorite football team is Green Bay Packers. I love sushi and my favorite bands ate The Beatles, the Artic Monkeys and the Black Keys.

         I can play the guitar very well and I learn an instrument very fast.

         I´m terrible at computer Games and video games.

         At home I have to do my homework and wash the dishes. I must obey my parents but I don’t have to obey my maid. I spend one hour and a half playing soccer a week.

I want to be an actor , I would like to be a musician or a cinematographic  producer. I want to learn at Julliard, New York. I would like to live abroad, in the United States.

A long time ago, I was playing in my condominium during all day, and when the night arrives, I and my friend were at the playground, at the swings, but suddenly we heard a really strange noise coming from a big and long hole (that was in the back of the playground), it looked like a meow but louder and longer, at first we looked each other and we thought that someone was joking, but we looked for, all around the playground and near places, but nothing. It could be a cat but we were so scared to look. We stayed there for more an instant and with no options we just ran away screaming, each one to his house, and we have never notice what it was!

About Me

     Hello! My name is Pedro Amaral, I am 13 years old. I am medium height, I am exactly 1, 65 tall. I am thin and have short and brown hair and light brown eyes. I am fast and friendly. But I´m not really patient, and not very calm.

      I live in São Paulo, Brazil with my father André, my mother Fabiana, my sister Manuela and my little dog Cindy. My dad is fat and tall, he has green eyes and he´s quite bald. My mother is medium height and thin, she has long brown hair and brown eyes. My sister is short, she is 9 years old, and she has light brown eyes and brown hair. My dog is short and it has much fur, it is fluffy.

       I like playing soccer and tennis, and playing video-game. My favorite food is sushi, and I support São Palo F.C, I love P.E. I really don´t like vegetables in general, but I can´t stand zucchini. I don´t mind waiting in lines, and I can´t stand airports and dentist, hate then. 

        I´m into arts, I like drawing and painting. I´m interested I music too, I like playing guitar and I love many groups like, The Cure, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ACDC and more.

        I can play many sports and instruments, and I am quite good at kitchen, I can cook something, but and bad at some subjects at school like math.

        At home I don´t have to do any housework, but I like helping in the weekends, setting and clearing the table. I must sleep early, and do my homework every day.

        I spend like twenty-five hours In school per week! And like six-teen in the club, the rest I’m at home or in my extra activities.

         In the future I hope to study in US or in Australia, and hope to be a business administrator as my parents. When I finish the studies would like to live abroad, in the US or in Australia, and that is it.
