My grandpa was born in 1933 and his name is José. His father was Italian and had come to Brazil because of the war in a ship and the trip lasted for more than 3 weeks. My grandpa lived all his childhood in Brás, SP. He got married in 1959 and had 4 children, all boys. He always tell me stories and I really enjoy them.

He met my grandma in 1957, in a party. After a few weeks of dating, she invited him to have a dinner at her house to meet her parents. In that night, everything was all right and there was pasta as main dish.

But, when my grandpa was going to serve himself, he accidentally dropped the dish of pasta over the table and everyone got dirty. After all, everything was all right, but that is one of my grandpa’s favorite stories.

                            

ABOUT ME

My name is Alexandre and I am 12.  I am tall, thin, my eyes are blue and I am blond. I am friendly and kind, but sometimes I am a little bit lazy. I have a brother, and his name is Pedro and he is 8. I have a sister, too, and she is15. They both study at Colégio Santa Cruz. My parents are 38, and their names are Paulo and Camila. I have 11 cousins and 3 grandparents. I really love my family.

I love playing all sports, but mainly basketball. I am at the E.C.P. team since I was 10!  I like music a lot, and I can play guitar, piano and a little of drums. I love rock and I do not mind listening to pop music, but I can’t stand pagode and country music. I do not mind cleaning my room, but I hate washing the dishes. My favorite soccer team is Palmeiras, and the basketballs Miami Heats.

 At school, I am good at Math, but this year I am not at Portuguese. I have to study a lot to get an A, but I usually get B, and that is great! When I am having classes I must not use my cellphone and eat, but when I am not at school, I do this a lot!

At home I usually do not have to do any housework, but at weekends I always make my bed. In the afternoons, I love watching TV, and if I have time, I watch a lot, but in the evening, I can’t stand the cartoons my brother watches.

I usually spend 10 hours a week studying and doing homework, and I have a full week (with basketball trainings, guitar lessons and English classes), so sometimes I think it is a lot of time I do not have.

In September I am going to go to the Rock in Rio, and I am really excited. When I finish school, I would like to make an interchange, to study more English. Then, I want to make a trip around the world and know different cultures. After that, I hope to study Medicine in a good university and then live in the U.S.A. I would like to be a famous doctor!
