SHARING LIFE STORIES
João Sérgio
was born in 1930 and Eddy was born in 1931. He is my grandfather and she is my
grandmother. They live in Rio de Janeiro and they have seven children, one of
them is my father.
They met
because they had friends in common that wanted to form a theater group with
them. During the formation of the group and the first performances they got to
know each other well and they started dating. After some time, João and Eddy
got married and had my father and other six children, five girls and one boy.
The drama
group is called Tablado and it´s very important in Rio, they have done many
plays in their theater and it´s also a drama school where one of my aunts,
Patricia, works as a teacher and where some of my cousins that live in Rio
study drama.
ABOUT ME
My name is Ana Clara Nunes and I’m 12 years old. I have blue eyes and
long, straight, blonde hair. I have one brother, one sister and one dog. I have
lots of cousins, too and a really big family.
I love
dancing and I’m into music. I can’t stand swimming classes, but I’m not bad at
it. My favourite TV show is Glee, I love their music! I can’t sing very well
and I’m really shy, but I’m a good dancer. I’m medium height and thin. I’d like
to be a little bit taller, but what can I do?
At home
I don’t have to do lots of housework, just make my bed on the weekends and,
sometimes wash the dishes. I HATE doing housework!
I never
stay at school in the afternoon, but I have many after school activities. I have
English classes and swimming classes. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have ballet
classes. I love ballet! I dance since 2002 and I can dance really well, but I
don’t want to be a dancer when I grow up.
My mom
has an ice-cream store and my dad is a lawyer, I don’t want to be any of those,
maybe be the owner of a store would be good but I would have to study a lot.
I’d like
to live in the USA for some years to study, just like my father, but I don’t
like the idea of living abroad my whole life! My father is from Rio de Janeiro
and sometimes he says he wants to live there again, but I refuse to go! I love
living here!
