Sharing Life Stories

     My grandfather was born in 1933 in Minas Gerais, but he moved to São Paulo. He lived in a house, not very big, but wasn’t small either. He had seven children and there are many stories to tell about him.

       One day, he decided to take his chance in the lottery. He thought of some numbers and tried. The surprise was that he won! If the money stayed with us, my family would be rich now, but when my grandfather died, he left the money with my grandmother and she hired a lawyer, but that lawyer took advantage of her, stole the money and ran away.

       No one ever saw him after that, but a lot of years later, when I had already been born, some people found him. His is very rich now, with OUR money! The case never went to trial, but now that we found him it is too late to do that. But my family is very happy without that money, and we love telling this story.

My name is Beatriz Terra. I am 13 years old, and I am from São Paulo, Brazil.

I am tall and skinny. My hair is wavy and blond. I am very talkative and absent minded, but I am friendly, happy and cheerful. I am sometimes messy, and I am always nice to every one

I have got one brother. His name is Giovanni. He is 17 years old. He is tall and skinny. He used to play basketball and handball, but now, he plays football. He used to play American Football too, but he stopped.

Likes & dislikes\Interests & abilities

I really love TV series. Like: Glee, The vampire Diaries, The Carrie Diaries, Once Upon a Time and more. I’m really into pop music, and I’m a big fan of Katy Perry. I can play football, handball, basketball and volleyball. I’m really good at handball. I love cheerleaders too!!

At school

I go to Santa Cruz school and I’m on 7^th grade. My favorite subject is English, because I love music, and the most of pop music is in English, so I like to understand what they are singing, and sing with they in the right way.

         There are some rules in my school. I’m not allowed to talk on the phone in the class. I’m supposed to pay attention. I can’t even chew a bubble gum!

My free time

         In my free time, I usually sleep in the sofa (in my house), but I do some exercises (for my body). I always watch an episode from some TV series (actually Glee).

         Sometimes, I play handball, but it is at school, when the classes end. At the end of the weekend, I’m really tired!

Plans for the future

          I would like to be a lawyer, or some famous actress.
