Sharing Life Stories
by Emília Galvão
My father was born in 1964 in São Paulo. He lived in a
house in Oscar Freire.
When he was 4 years old he changed school. He was
studying in a school called Materdei. But he didn’t like this school.
One day, when nobody was looking at him, he jumped
over the fence and ran away from the school.
The school was in Brazil Avenue and he walked to the
street guard and he said he wanted to go back home, but the street guard saw
the uniform and took him back to school. So when my grandmother heard about
that, she found another school for him.
His name is Eduardo and he is a lawyer now.
