Sharing Life Stories

This is a story about my uncle Leandro. He was born in Atibaia, in a farm that my family owned, in the year of 1978. Today, he lives in Israel, but he had already lived in a lot of different places, and, in this year, was born his first daughter, Maya.

One day, when he was a teenager, about 15 years, he was in my family´s farm with some friends, when one of his friends, that was lightning up the fireplace, accidentally dropped an entire bottle of alcohol over him: he was absolutely on fire! In the farm, it was a pool, but the house was completely locked, because my grandparents had gone out to dinner. Luckily, in the same moment that the bottle dropped on him, my grandparents arrived home and unlocked the house; he ran out and jumped on the pool!

After that, my grandparents took him to the hospital and, after 5 days, he got fine. Luckily, he didn´t died, or lost one part of his body, but he had 60% of his body burned. Today, he lives fine, as if nothing happened, with a beautiful baby daughter.

        About Me

Hi! My name is Eric and I’m twelve years old.
I am a thin and small boy, but I’m really angry! I have a dog but I don’t have any brothers or sisters. My parents live together , with me, and my grandparents live just across the street! It’s really cool, because I can see them anytime I want!
I love playing soccer, tennis, ping-pong, videogames, playing the guitar, doing parkour and skateboarding, but I hate playing basketball, handball and, of course, doing all the housework! But, unfortunately, I have to make my bed and taking out the trash.
I study at Santa Cruz. My favorite subjects are English and History. I really love playing and watching soccer,  and my favorite soccer team is Sao Paulo. My friends say that I’m really good at soccer, but I don’t believe them! I like playing ping-pong, too.I know I’m not good at it, but practicing will help me to get better and better!
Unfortunately,  I don’t have much time to do all things I want to do, because I spend 30 hours  a week in school, and more 5 hours a week doing homework. In the rest of the time, I need to do extra activities and some housework. It’s really hard to get time to do everything!
In the future, I want to become a soccer player. I know there it’s almost impossible, but I’ll try! If I don’t enter in the team, then I think I will try to become an engineer or an architect. I want to study in Santa Cruz until I finish high school. I wanted to do college in USA, but if I don’t enter, I’ll do here. I promise you that I’ll try a lot to become a soccer player, because it’s my dream, since I was young!
Now, I have to do some housework again. My mom is really angry with me.
Until the next, bye!
Eric
