SHARING LIFE STORIES
My story happened 3 years ago. I went on a trip to Punta del Este, Uruguay, with my parents and my older brother.
There we did great stuff: my dad completed a marathon (I had taken part on a kid’s run right before his run started), we visited museums, went shopping, ate out, bought souvenirs, went sightseeing and lots of other interesting things.
On our way back home (already in São Paulo), I was lying on my mom’s lap and relaxing with the windows open. Suddenly, I decided to put my toes out of the window and feel the breeze. It felt really good at first! Then, when I was enjoying the wind, my dad, who didn’t know what I was doing, tried to close the windows. It scared me, and I started shouting: “Close it! Close it!”  - instead of “open”. Dad said “IM CLOSING, SON!”. It was a mess. Mom knew what was happening  but she couldn’t say anything, as she had started laughing a lot.

When dad realized that the windows weren’t able to close, looked back and saw that my feet were being pressed, then he let me free them. I felt relieved!

ABOUT ME

Hello, reader.
My name is Francisco, I´m thirteen years old and I´m from São José do Rio Preto, Brazil. Nowadays, I live in São Paulo. I´m medium height, my hair is light brown and my eyes are blue. I´m well-built and my feet are small. I´m outgoing, competitive and calm. I´m also open minded, humble and hard-working.
I have one older brother, and we live together with our parents. Our family isn´t big.
I´m really keen on playing soccer, that´s my cup of tea. Although, I loathe swimming. Exercising myself and playing video-games are my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy listening to music. In addition, I´m into travelling. Furthermore, I´m horrible at cooking, I can´t even turn the cooker on!
At home, all I do is about homework and entertainment, I only help my mom in a few housework activities, like setting and clearing the table, and, very rarely, I do grocery shopping along with my mother. I don´t mind doing these activities.
Weekly, I think I spend about 7 hours doing homework. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have English classes. On Wednesday, after the English class, I have football training, which repeat on Fridays. On weekdays, I always go to school, unless there is a holiday. Weekly, I spend 25 hours at school, and about 6 hours playing football.
For the future, I plan to be studying abroad, maybe in the UK. I´d like to learn more languages, so I could travel around the world. When I finish university, I want to be working as an engineer. After getting some experience, I would love to get back to the university and get a postgraduate degree.
