Sharing life stories

  My uncle lives in Los Gatos in the US so my mom, grandpa and grandma decided to visit him there. My uncle said that they should go to San Francisco to go sightseeing and got to a symphony. He also said that to go to the symphony, my grandpa would have to take and wear a suit. My uncle bought tickets for the symphony but it would be on one of the last days of the trip.

 When they were in San Francisco, they went sightseeing and they did everything they had planned, except for one thing. One day they woke up and my uncle pulled my grandpa aside and said:

-           -    Dad, the symphony was yesterday and I forgot to tell you guys. Unfortunately there are no concerts today or for the rest of your stay.

Then my grandpa who had carried his heavy tuxedo the entire trip said:

-       -  Well it’s okay! We can go next time, but please don’t tell me to bring a suit. Don’t tell your mom that you forgot or she will get upset. Instead, say that the concert was cancelled.                                                                                                  So my uncle did. My mom said that it was still an amazing trip and that eventhough they didn’t go to the symphony they had lots of fun.

About Me

Hi! My name is Gabriela and my nickname is Gabi. I was requested by my teacher to write a text about me. I was born in São Paulo, Brazil in the year of 2000. When I was a baby I was very chubby and bald, but now I’m average weight and I have a lot of Hair. I am a chatter box! Sometimes my parents have to tell me to stop talking so much. I’m friendly most of the time but when I “wake up on the wrong foot”, oh Lord! I won’t even tell you about it! I’m very disorganized and absentminded. Recently, I had to put on braces and they hurt really bad! I learned a lot of things this year, like how to multiply fractions; but the most important lesson that I learned is that even those you think you can trust with all your heart may turn against you. I live with my parents my sister and my dog, in a apartment. My mom is really nice and fun I enjoy spending time with her. We often go to movies together.  My Dad is sweet and understanding we have lots of great times together we like to talk a lot.my sister is cool and she has a lot of style! I would really like to spend more time with her. My dog’s name is Naná she’s a handful. I sometimes have to do some of the housework, like doing the dishes I don’t mind it (depends of what the person ate!) I also make the bed every Sunday. I don’t mind doing homework, but I really, really, really, hate waking up early. I love cooking. I’m completely in love with The Hunger Games and the amazing actor Josh Hutcherson and incredible actress Jennifer Lawrence. I really would write more if I had time because I have a lot of stuff to tell about.
