João Starck

 Sharing Life Stories

By João Starck

My grandfather was born in 1925, he was an army captain. He is kind and funny. His name is Gustavo Starck. He had two children and he told me lots of stories and one of them I will tell now.

He was 19 years old,  when one day in Italy he was shot in the leg in the middle of the battle. One of his soldiers tried to get close to him but he got shot and died. After two hours of pain and terror another guy saved him, but my grandfather did not tell me his name.

Now he is retired and he enjoys the life with his wife his children and grandchildren.

                                           About me

                                                                     By João Starck

My name is João Starck. I am from São Paulo. I am 12 years old. I’m tall, I have blue eyes and blond hair. I’m usually sleepy and often lazy.

I have got one brother and one sister. My Brother’s name is André and he is 10 years old. My sister’s name is Maria Fernanda and she is 2 years old.

            Likes, dislikes, interests and abilities

I love surfing, I’m as big fan of  “The Big Bang Theory”.

I can’t stand classical music and I hate doing my homework

My favourite team is São Paulo, my favourite sport is surf, my favourite food is Japanese and my favourite group is AC/DC.

I can play football very well, I’m good at science and I’m bad at French.

At school

I go to Santa Cruz and I am on 7th Grade. My favourite subject is Science because I am good at it.

There are some rules in my school. I’m not allowed to use my cell phone during the classes, but I’m supposed to take notes of all lessons.

What I most like my school is that it is really big and there are lots of soccer fields.

                   My free time

In my free time, I usually play video-games and watch tv, but I hardly ever read books.

            Plans about future

When I grow up, I want to go to medicine school or law school.
