Joao Zsigz

                Sharing Life Stories
My father was born in 1965 in São Paulo. He works at a school that has a different and creative method of learning. He loves to travel around the world and one of his best stories happened on one of these adventures.

On 1994 my dad went to Africa with some friends. He did many cool things like sandboarding and car riding through deserts! But he walked a lot too. He had to walk so many places and he once walked for two days. The journey started 100 km away from their arrival place. On the second day when he woke up he needed to use the bathroom so he found a tree and did his business. On the way back to the tent, he saw a little can and kicked it and then continued  on their journey on their way they saw huge barbed wire spheres and when they got to their arrival place they found an English speaker who talked to them and that’s when they discovered that they had walked through a giant mine field and the can he had kicked was actually a grenade!!! That was one of his coolest adventures ever!!!
About Me

My name is Joao Zsigmond, I am 12 years old. I am pretty short and I have straight hair. I have brown hair and blue green eyes. I am slightly clumsy and a little shy. My mom tells me im terribly clumsy but I don’t think so at all. I have an older brother called Gabe and a sister called Clara who is nine years old.

I like soccer but I prefer other sports or board games like chess or football. I don’t like homework, it makes me feel  lazy, but I don’t mind going to school because I get to see all my friends. I am interested in English, for it is an amazing language and I love learning it but I cant stand writing essays or taking quizzes and tests. My favorite team is palmeiras even though I am not a big soccer fan.

I can ride a bike and I like that too but I cant skateboard. At home, I have to do my homework but rarely do I have to do chores or clean my room. I must always respect the property at school for it would be disrespectful if I didn’t and I mustn’t be mean to my friends.

During the week, I usually spend 1 or 2 hours a day studying but 5 at school. I don’t do housework but I do have many after school activities like soccer for 1 hour and water polo for an hour as well.
