ABOUT ME
Greetings!
My name is Laura and
I am a Brazilian 13-year-old teenager who's medium height and has a robust
body. My hair is ginger, my eyes are green, but in a certain light they look
deep blue. Like the most of the gingers, my skin is pale and covered by
freckles.
I’m very stubborn,
imperative, irascible and moody. But I’m also very optimistic, outgoing and
sensible. I’m known as a girl who is initially hostile and angry but gradually
shows sweetness.
My interests are
focused in Human Sciences-philosophy, language, etc. My hobbies are reading
books and writing. I write everything from poetry to romances. I aspire to be a
famous writer.
I enjoy singing and
my dream to become a very good singer. I want to participate at the X Factor
UK, like my favourite band, One Direction. To follow this wish, I do singing
classes once a week.
But, before
dedicating my time to hobbies, I have to do my homework and clean my room. I’m
very messy and a bit lazy, so sometimes I just lay down and write poems. If I
clean my room- the kind of thing that I hardly ever do- I spend thirty minutes
doing it, equaling to 1/10 of the time I spend at school, which starts at the
early morning (ten past seven, actually) and finishes at twenty to one. During
this period, we must sit in our tables and do what the teacher ask the students
to. We mustn’t talk to our friends. It’s also inappropriate to disturb the
class- including walking in it, screaming, giggling, drumming and arriving
late. All these rules need to be followed or otherwise you’ll face the
consequences- which are a bit scary.
Talking about my
extracurricular courses... Well... I do Volley (at school), tennis (at an
academy), Theatre, Singing and Poetry Classes with a university
teacher.
I'm currently writing a book. Actually it's a romance.

Sharing Life Stories
My grandfather, sir John
William Redfern, was born in 1932 in England. He lived in a small town near
Coventry when he was young. He is a very perspicacious man.
As I said before, he moved to Brazil, planning to stay here for one year
and then move to the US. But he loved here; he met a nice young lady who tried to teach him Portuguese, Grace
Yolanda. So, he asked the brunette out- and she went. They found their kindred
spirits.
One day, they, as many soul mates that meet each other, decided to
marry. The party was dreamlike and my grandmother’s dress was dazzling. The
ceremony was truly genuine and sealed the start of a long and fairytale-like
marriage which is eternal and has marked the birth of enlighted generations of the Redfern
family.
Needless to say, he had four children and had never moved to the USA or England.
