        My great-grandmother was born in 1920 in Minas Gerais. She lived in a big farm.

         Her name was Lucia, and her dad was called Antonio.

         One day, a very hurt men asked for help in Antonio’s house. Antonio was a great doctor, and he helped this man to get better.

         All the maids were afraid of him, so Lucia was the one to give him food and made his bed. Lucia was 10 years old, and what she didn’t know was that man was a “Cangaceiro” of Lampião!

         Some days later, this man thanked Antonio and left the house.

         15 years later, Lucia moved out to São Paulo and got married. One day, Lucia was getting water from one well, and a man saw her.

         So he walked in her direction, and said

“Daughter of Antonio don’t work in front of me”

         It was the same men from 15 years ago.

         He helped her getting the water from the well, and 5 years later, she got divorced and got married with this ´cangaceiro`.
