               About me

   My name is Mariana Iaconelli Soares Bruno. I am 13 years old.

I’m tall and I have dark brown hair. I have brown eyes. Sometimes I am shy and sometimes I am outgoing.

   My father is called José Roberto and he’s 50 years old. My step-mother is called Paula and she is 45 years old. My mother’s name is Vera and she’s 47 years old. My step-father’s name is Júlio. I have 3 sisters called Malu, Gabi and Bárbara. Malu is 18, Gabi is 16 and Bárbara is 24. I have 2 dogs called Tequila and Fly.

   I like going out with my friends and listening to music. I don’t like cleaning my room. I don’t mind loading the dishwasher. I hate waking up early. I can’t stand selfish people. I’m interested in guitar lessons. My favourite food is sushi. My favourites groups are My Chemical Romance, Green Day, The Killers and others. I can play handball.

   At home, I have to set and clear the table, but I don’t have to wash the dishes. At school, I have to be polite, but I don’t have to play volleyball. I must clean mr room, but I mustn’t study at the living room.

   I spend 27 hours at school in a week. I spend 8 hours doing after school activitites in a week, such as drama classes, Olympics Gymnastic classes, swimming classes, voluntary work and handball classes. I have to clean my room. I would like to live in Norwich, Netherlands, because it’s beautiful there and people are kind. If don’t live there I’m going to stay in São Paulo, because I love in here.

  Sharing life stories

My grandmother was born in 1937 in São Paulo. She used to stay at home all the time and she was very kind. She had six children, but two of them died a long time ago, and so did my grandfather.

When she turned 80 she started travelling a lot. She

uwent to Astralia, Hawaii, Turkey and others. But 

then she had a problem with her already damaged 

heart and she had to do a surgery. She was supposed 

to stay in the hospital for one month, but she left three 

weeks earlier.

Two weeks later, she went to Las Vegas!! She wanted to jump from a mountain on a parachute, but her doctor didn’t let her, so she only could ride a 

balloon (that was on Africa!)
