My name is Yuri. I’m from Brazil, São Paulo. I’m 12 years old. I’m medium height. I have curly, short and brown hair. I have blue eyes. I’m sometimes anxious and I’m often happy. My father is a Chemistry teacher. He is cool and funny. My mother is a journalist and a happy person. I have got a sister, she is 10 years old and she is called Clara.

I like playing handball. I love watching action films. I hate Biology. I can’t stand making in bed. My favorite team is Flamengo. My favorite food is hamburger. I´m good at handball.  I’m bad at football.

I go to Santa Cruz school and I am on 7^th grade. My favorite subjects are Physical Education and math because Kazuo and Ruben are funny. There are some rules in my school. I’m not allowed to talk on cell phone in class. I’m supposed to do homework. What I most like about my school are the sports court because I can play lots of sports.

In my free time I sometimes read books I usually play computer games.

My dream is to be Physical Education teacher.

My grandmother, Darcy, was born in 1949 in São Paulo. She lived in a big city and she was very a tough girl. She had four brothers and sisters and there are many stories to tell about her. She was bank manager, but she retired.

My grandmother’s sister, Sonia, was born in 1952. When she was born she went home. My grandmother and my grandmother’s sister, Janette, gave caramel sweets to the baby, Sonia, she had a stomachache.

Now, my grandmother’s sister, Sonia doesn’t     remember this story. She is a teacher in Sesi. She is 61 years old.
