Sharing Life Stories

My grandfather told me this story two years ago so I won’t be able to tell all the details.

My great-grandfather’s father came to Brazil in search for a better life because he wasn’t doing well in Italy.

Here in Brazil he used to work on a rubber factory or something like that . Close to the factory there was a soccer field where the workers played after work. There were two teams in the neighborhood and one day they became only one, and my great-grandfather’s father was one of the most important associates in the foundation of the soccer team. Until today, his name is in the club memorial.

This team still exists, but it isn’t very famous or strong. It’s called Clube Atlético Juventus. 

About Me

My name is André, I’m 12 years old, I’m medium-height and I have medium black straight hair. I’m a lazy person. I have two dogs: a golden and a cocker spaniel.

I like playing tennis, but I hate playing handball. I don’t mind watching soccer and I don’t like playing basketball.

I can’t stand listening to Justin Bieber but I’m interested in many music styles. More than others, I’m into rock. My favorite band is The Beatles, my favorite soccer team is Grêmio and I don’t like any subject.

I can play the drums, but I’m better at playing the guitar. I’m really bad at speaking French.

When I’m home, I have to do my homework and study, but I don’t have to sleep early. I must sleep before midnight and I can’t play the guitar after 10:00 p.m.

Sometimes, I spend a lot of time studying or doing homework. I also spend a lot of time in school and doing after school activities, such as English classes at Cultura Inglesa, bass, drums and guitar classes and I play tennis. Every day, (except Friday) I do something after school. I never do housework.

In the future, I want to become a lawyer or a musician. I’m going to keep studying on Santa Cruz until I’m 18, then I’ll decide where I’m going to study. I’d like to keep living in my house until I get a good job to buy a new house and live by myself.
