Sharing Life Stories
My grandfather was born in 28/05/1930 Seoul, South
Korea. He lived in a simple house and he had 2 sons. They came to Brazil when
my father was 11 years.
My grandfather spoke English very well so he was a war
translator. He had translated the orders from General MacArthur in the Vietnam
War. One day he was shot in the wrist but it wasn’t very serious. He helped the
Koreans in the war translating the orders from the US Army General, but they
lost the war.
To sum up my grandfather was a translator in the war, he was shot and it was all right,
he is very intelligent and polyglot, being fluent in Korean, English and some
other languages.
ABOUT ME
My name is João Paulo, I’m 13 years old. I’m tall; I have black eyes and
black hair. I only have one sister, her name is Daniela and she is 15 years
old.
I like soccer, football
and video-games. I don’t like noisy places and tests. I don’t mind going to
school, staying in the traffic and studying. The only thing I hate is traveling
by plane, the plane is cold, the food is horrible and the trip is too long. I’m
into music and surfing the internet.
My favorite soccer team is
Palmeiras and my favorite football team is New England Patriots. I can play all
sports but I’m good at football and bad at handball.
I’m my house I don’t have
to do any housework but I always have a lot of homework. After school I have 2
hours of kung fu and 4 hours of English.
I intend to live somewhere
in the US, probably somewhere with sky station. I would like to do something
related to cars, like designer, tester or pilot.
