My grandmother Ruth was born in 1946 in São Paulo. She married my grandfather David had three children, Adriana my mother, Flavia my aunt and Ricardo my uncle. And I have some interesting stories to tell about my family

When my great grandmother died in 2004, my grandparents were very sad, but I didn’t understand very well what had happened because I was 4 years old… During the funeral, everybody was silent, my grandmother was taking care of me when I saw the great-grandmother´s coffin I said:

-Ah grandmother…

-What happened my darling?-she asked me

-I thought I would see the little box open and the skeleton!!

My grandmother laughed and said:

-Haha! No Lis, in the Jewish tradition the coffin remains closed.

We kept walking when I asked to my grandmother again:

-But… Why is the coffin black?

She thought and said:

-I don’t know… It is a good question.

I stopped and said smiling:

-When you die, I will buy a pink little box for you!

Grandmother Ruth started to laugh. I started laughing, too. And we laughed, but we had to stop because we were in funeral.

I will remember this story forever…

My name is Lis and I am 12 years old. I am from São Paulo in Brazil. I have brown hair and my eyes are brown, I am short and thin. I’m fun and sometimes sentimental. My friends tell me that I am outgoing… I’m sometimes angry, too… I have got 1 sister, her name is Nina and I have got 1 step brother, his name is Rodrigo. My parents are divorced; their names are Adriana and Alexandre. My grand-parents are very happy, their names are Ruth and David. They are psychologist. My other grand-parents are retired, their names are Aurea and Garibalde.

I am keen on listening to music and watching TV.  I love animals. I can’t stand tidying my room and making to bed…, but I don’t mind clearing the table. My favorite sport is football and Olimpic Gynastic, and my favorite food is Japanese.

I go to Santa Cruz and I am on 7^th grade. My favorite subject is P.E., because I love sport and my subject is music, because I play guitar and piano.

In my free time I often do my homework and I watch T.V.  I enjoy surfing in the net, but I prefer playing the game with my sister.

In my future I want to work, to marry and have a son and a daughter. My dream is to go on  air balloon trip. I am not sure what I want to be.
