ABOUT ME
My name is Bruno and I am from São Paulo, in Brazil. I
am twelve years old. I am thin, a little short and blond. I am talkative, anxious, clumsy and sometimes
really moody. I often study English and usually go cycling.
I have got one sister called Sofia, and
she is eleven years old. She is blond, tall and thin. My mom is called Rita,
she is forty-one years old and she is a cool and medium-high business woman. My
dad is called Ugo. He is blond, a little fat and medium-high business man, and
he is very funny and cool.
I go to the Santa Cruz School and I am on
7th grade. My favorite subjects are English, Portuguese and Physical
Education because those are the only subjects that I don´t feel bored with.
There are some rules in my school. I am not allowed to use my cell-phone when I
bored (In home, I do that). I am supposed to do the homework. What I most like
about my school is see my friends.
In my free time I usually watch TV shows
on my computer, especially on Netflix. I like to watch Breaking Bad and Friends.
Sometimes I play with my videogame console. I enjoy going to the cinema and I
am keen on listening to music.
My dream is to be a writer.
SHARING LIFE STORIES
My great-grandfather Oscar Eboli was born in 1918 in São
Paulo. He lived in a very small house in the outskirts and he was so poor that
he had to share a pair of shoes with his older brother. His father died when he
was fourteen years old. When he was 28 years old he became the colonel of the firemen.
He had luck, because he was only 1,65 tall. Now, the firemen are supposed to
have, at least, 1,80 (I think).
When he was 37 years old,
he entered a building which was on fire to save a little baby dog who was stuck
in the building. He almost died doing that, and his right leg got full of
burns. And that was really brave.
My great-grandfather died
when he was 92 years old, in 2010. He is a hero to me.
