Valentina Rosset

Sharing Life Stories

My mom was born in 1967, in São Paulo. At that time, she lived in a small apartment with my grandparents and my uncle. She was a very determined girl. There are many stories to tell about her, but my favorite one is how she met my dad.
My dad lived on the same street as her, so he used to see her walking to the bakery, to the club… So then he got into the business university, and my mom too, but one year later. My dad didn’t pass, so he went to the same class as hers. He was dating and also my mom. Then, he even got married to this woman he was dating! My mom was going to get married too, and on the same date that he did! But she didn’t, because her ‘fiancée’ broke up with her before. My dad got divorced one year later. After one year, my mom started working, at my grandad’s business (my dad’s dad), and my dad worked there too.  Then they started talking, and a few months later, they started dating, and finally, they got married.
They had 3 children, my sister Raffaella in ’96, my brother Giancarlo in ’98, and me, in ’00.

About me

My name is Valentina and I’m 13 years old. I live in São Paulo, Brazil. I am talkative and friendly. I have brown eyes and brown hair. I have a brother and a sister. His name is Giancarlo and he’s 14 years old. He is outgoing and funny. He has brown eyes and brown hair, too. He loves rock, he can play the guitar, the drums. His favorite team is Corinthians, he has a girlfriend that supports Corinthians too, and her name is Sofia. My sister is 16 years old and her name is Raffaella. She’s at the second year of high school. She’s blonde and her eyes are blue. She’s hard working, kind and pretty. I love spending time with her, we always laugh together, but sometimes we fight too. She looks like my mother, because she is blonde and she has blue eyes. My mom is lovely and fun. She loves fashion. My father has black hair and brown eyes. He loves horses, and Corinthians, just like my brother and my sister, and he can play the drums. I have 5 dogs, but only one stays in my house, his name’s Slash. It’s the name of a guitarist; my brother gave him this name. The other 4 dogs stay on my farm, because they are bigger. Their names are Scooby, Mel, Polly and Sabrina. I love my dogs so much! I don’t know what I would do without them.
I love hanging out with my friends. We do a lot of stuff together and we always have fun and laugh. Playing the piano and acting are some of my favorite things that I do. I like music a lot, mostly pop and electronic. My favorite singer is Miley Cyrus, she is amazing, I love her! I have 477 posters of her in my room! I love going to the movies or watching them at home, my favorite movies are: The Last Song, Lola, One Day, Midnight in Paris… I have too many favorite movies, I can’t choose. I’m into books, but not so much, and I enjoy drawing and riding horses on my farm. I love travelling, and a place that I’ll never forget to visit is Bora Bora (an island in Tahiti) it’s so beautiful! My favorite places are Los Angeles, London, Paris and New York. I hate doing homework and Physical Education! I support Palmeiras, but I don’t like sports so much.  My favorite food is junk food! Chocolate, French fries… but unfortunately I can’t eat them every day. I like pasta, too. I think I’m good at playing the piano, acting, dancing and drawing. I like a lot of different kind of arts!
I have extra classes out of school, like English, piano classes, hip hop and drama classes. The only activity that I don’t like so much is English… at school, I have to pay attention, do my homework, study, but sometimes I get a little distracted and I sometimes don’t get the grades that I wish I could get. But I’m hard working. I mustn’t talk while a friend or a teacher is speaking.
I spend too much time on social media, and sometimes this isn’t good because I don’t realize the time, and when I see, one hour has already passed. I spend one hour, one hour and a half doing homework and when I have a test, when the subject is too difficult, I spend two hours and a half, or three studying for it. I don’t have to do too much housework, but I have to clean my room.

In the future, I want to be an actress.
