Luis Schotto di Santillo was my grandfather. He was born in Proccida, Italy in 1922, and grew up there.

            Then when he was a grown-up he decided to go on a trip on a ship. But then when the ship was in the Brazilian coast, the 2^nd world war   broke out and everybody in this ship got stuck as prisoners. He lived 4 years in the ship.

Only 4 years later after he was free, he came to São Paulo. Here he met my grandma  Celeste and got married some years later.

As my grandfather used to be the cook of the ship, he opened ‘’ Cantina do Marinheiro’’ in Brás, in São Paulo, that was very famous and successful. This restaurant  was very famous for serving sea food and not the traditional Italian food.

Unfortunately my grandpa died in 1998.

    ABOUT ME

My name is Victor Azevedo di Santillo I am from Brazil, I am thirteen years old, I’m tall, I’ve got green eyes I’m  usually  happy  and friendly. I’m usually in a good mood and neat. I’m sometimes stressed out. I haven’t got brothers and sisters.

I love cats. I am a big fan of computers games and ipad games. I can’t stand making my bed. I’m keen on watching T.V. My favorite food is hamburger. I can play the ‘’ knife game song’’ I’m not very keen on reading books.

I study at Santa Cruz school and I am on 7^th grade. My favorite subject is English, because it’s fun. There are some rules in my school. I’m not allowed to use cell phone in class and I’m supposed to arrive at 7:10. What I most like about my school is the math classes, because they are easy.

In my free time I always play computer games, I enjoy playing  games

I am not sure what I want to be but I love animals.
