I’ll tell a story about Guilda. She is the mother of my mother’s friend. She was born in Italy, La Spezia on May 07, 1923. She graduated in Italian primary teacher (it’s called Maestra). Guilda arrived in Brazil in Santos with the ship Visconde de Mauá, on December 31, 1948. She came because she had married Alberto Simonini and he immigrated after the war to work in the Plant Agronomist Refinadora Paulistana in Araraquara. She had three children: Fabio, Daniele and Claudio.

During the second war, the germans were in control of all Italian cities. In a small village, there was a family that was starring, Guilda’s family.

They decided to leave the village and go to the town, looking for food. In order to travel between the small village and the town, it was required an official pass, issued by the germans. Guilda and her family didn’t have this pass. But they decided to travel anyway.

During the journey, the german officers stopped then, and asked for their documents. Guilda’s family were almost being shot, when a peasant came and said:

-Papa Papa! Here are your documents! You forgot then at home!

The germans looked at the documents, and let guilda’s family pass through.

At the end of the second war, Guilda’s mom came back to look for the peasant, but they never found evidences that the peasant lived in that city or even existed. At the end, they believe that she was a guard angel that saved her family from the death.

About Me

Hi! My name is Heloisa, but everybody calls me Helo. I am 13 years old and I live in São Paulo, Brazil.

I am tall and thin, I have curly brown hair, and blue/green eyes.

My mother’s name is Maria Cecilia and my father’s name is Claudio. I have one brother called João Henrique (he is 15 years old) and a little sister called Isabella (she is 9 years old).

I am a shy girl when I meet new people. But when I am with my friends I am really happy and a smiley girl. I don’t think that I am a lazy person (only on Sunday), actually I think I am hard working at school.

In my free time I like watching TV, surfing the internet, playing the guitar and doing arts things. I don’t like waking up really early (like 6:00), but I don’t mind waking up at 9:00, 8:00 clock. I love staying at home on rainy days and watch one of my favorite movies ( Harry Potter, The hunger Games, The devil wears Prada or This Means War) or going out to the cinema. I love dancing ballet too. I hate being bored or when I have nothing to do.

I have a lot of favorite actress: Amanda Seyfried, Emma Watson, Anne Hatheway, Amanda Bynes and Jennifer Lawrence. And my favorite singer is Taylor Swift. My favorite TV series are Once Upon a Time and Glee. I love reading too, My favorite books are Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Fazendo Meu Filme and Airhead (Cabeça de Vento).

At home, on the weekend, unfortunately, I have to wash the dishes and make my bed, and during the week I have to clean my room and lay the table.

During the week I spend one hour a day doing my homework, but it depends of the quantity obvious. I spend 5 hours a day in the school. And I spend 3 hours a week in my ballet class and 6 hours a week for music class (guitar class and singing class)

In the future I’d like to live one year in New York (studying English, doing musical class and working) and one year in London (doing ballet class and working at the Dungeon Museum or Harry Potter’s studios). Then I’m going to come back to Brazil to be a lawyer and do study psychology.
